Fandom Cake 2010...

 Following on from last year's quite remarkable Bug!Slug birthday cake, this year's entrant sets new standards for what you can achieve with a packet of multi-coloured icing (that's frosting to you Yanks!) and a whole lot of patience.

I'm not sure exactly how detailed the photo is, but Cat even managed to sculpt hot dog chunks to put in amongst the macaroni... What she didn't realise (largely because "everything I know about your fandom comes from being your beta!") is that mac 'n' cheese has never actually been in the show, but somehow frequently manages to work its way into my fics. But that just made me love it even more.

It's good to be back, a bit like coming home y'know.

I got stuck on S3 of Bones, never managed to catch up. And I have issues about Temperance Brennan's ears...they disturb me.

LOL, you actually managed one more season than I did. I only made it through the first two but I know that Maura and Brennan are certainly on the same wave-length. As for her ears, I've never really been troubled by them but her fringe in this latest season is horrible! (and as you know, it's all about the hair *g*)

Not really. There's a main lj for fic and snips of news and stuff but no real discussion. The funniest posts are the subtext reviews for the eps (cos, seriously, no fucker is watching this for the plot!) http://www.afterellen.com/TV/recaps/rizzoli-and-isles-subtext-recap-four (just poke around on the site and you should find the rest - I blame Dorothy Snarker for getting me into this...)

This sounds like a bad joke.

I've watched 2 eps sofar. It's cracky, and the acting seems a bit forced in places, so I'm waiting to watch a few more eps to decide whether it's a keeper or a loser.
