In the month that a man was kicked to death in London for being gay and the Daily Mail posted a commentary on Stephen Gately's death that was so offensive it garnered thousands of complaints in a matter of hours, this put a huge smile on my face and made me proud to be a gay Mancunian.

That... is... EPIC. I need to get out to Pride one of these days. I'm sure you could work that uniform well enough to make it look cute though. At least you guys can DO stuff like that in uniform without losing your job.

Addendum after seeing Cat's post: Seriously, there's a lot to work with there. My sister makes the ugliest ass things look amazing. Plus, that blonde girl in the video was pretty cute, and I'm usually biased against blondes! Or maybe this liberal American just finds signs of nationalized medicine sexy. This may require a shrink to get to the bottom of...

Totally. We just go in for the parade but it's a brilliant atmosphere. Thousands turn up to watch it in Manchester.
