I found out this week that Snowbound has been awarded an Alice B Lavender Certificate for debut novel \o/ The Alice B committee are a group of largely anonymous avid readers of lesbian lit who annually present medals for career achievement, and certificates for outstanding debut novels. "Award winning author Cari Hunter" has a nice ring to it. Congrats! And well deserved. Add me to the list that's happy to hear that novel #2 is heading to the finish line.

However, if you need an ego boost and some instant gratification, you could always post a short fic for your adoring fans... Just a thought. I would be happy to read and offer glowing comments. :-) 2012 has been quite a challenge around here so far, so I'm looking for bright spots wherever I can find them. I've found some good ones under your name, so here I am... waiting... hoping... no pressure... ;-)

I hope 2012 is settling down some for you. I will admit, I found S2 of R&I such a battle to get through that the fic inspiration seems to have dried up. They are always fun to write though so I will never say never!
