I had to go and check it, but rewatching an episode to do "research" is never a hardship.
I gotta ask though, do we ever get to see Sarah patch Derek up? Kyle did say she does a damn fine field dressing. XD
Heh. Haven't ever written that thus far (never rule it out though!) although strangely enough that very scene does come up in Never a Good Day...
I think I would've slapped that nurse btw... making that lovely bubble basically means she caught the vein and then stuck the needle straight through and out the other side. I'd never use something like that as IV access for any length of time, maybe she'd be able to take bloods from it...? I love footballers with broken legs, they always have awesome veins if they need morphine. People half dead from blood loss *shakes head* I never have a good time with those!
