I think the series would be a hell of a lot better if there was a whole bunch of us fans sitting in on the writing room ;-) It's almost as if the show can do a serious episode but then just doesn't have the guts to follow up on that and actually address any ramifications for the characters. That they just can't help but tie everything up with a big pink ribbon happy ending. I just wish they were braver, I guess but they've made their bed and seem quite content to lie in it. I can only hope they take some of the feedback from the mid-season finale on board. Too late for the remaining eps, they'll already be in the can, but maybe for season 3...
Oh well, at least it gives us something to write fic about!
