Plus, they sucked all the hoyay out of the episode. At least we didn't have to put up with counterbalancing men-of-the-week.
Didn't they just? They sucked the entire life-force out of the episode, it was horrible. I'm wondering if the Ho-yay is actually improved by the addition of Men of the Week. Some of their finest Outings have been in response to one or both of them having a fella. Bring on the blokes I say and let the other fall around jealous ;-)
So please keep writing them for us so we don't have to depend so much on the TV that never fails to disappoint.
It has to be said, if I were to choose between that televisual travesty and this fic, I'd plump for the fic every time (at least I did some fucking googling before writing!) Hopefully this will be a blip on the S2 radar and next week we can get back to our regularly scheduled instalment of Subtexty Win (with a shit plot in the background for us to ignore and/or giggle at).
