Maybe it's a "lazy American" trait, but when she's here, The Woman *hates* subtitles AND loud surround sound. I often end up watching thing at low volume, to keep the peace, and sometimes I turn on the English subtitles, just so I don't miss any soft dialog. If she comes in the room and takes an interest in the show, the subtitles have to be turned off. Too distracting (no Bale rants though).
Anyway, it seems the American market prefers a re-shoot in English, to overdub or subtitles. But what do we know? TSCC couldn't hold much of an audience here. Idiots.
