I defer to your judgement, but I can't help feeling that this is a little like hearing Bette Midler or Julie Gold's recording of "From a Distance", after imprinting on Nanci Griffith's version.
They just feel wrong.

I didn't like alt!meyer, but I expect him to be dirty. Lyndon/Lund felt a little soft for the job, but that fit with her leaving.

Anyway, I really don't WANT to care about the AMC series.
