*laughs* no that's probably not terribly Kosher but I know exactly what you mean. According to WikiP (and Urban Dictionary) the origins of butty seem to be a "contraction of bread and butter". It's a northern english term, I think I chucked it into Snowbound twice just for a laugh ;-)
